Inside Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to interpret customer drawings / sketches
- Strong mathematical ability
- Capable of multitasking in a high paced environment
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data to make and justify informed decisions and forecasts.
- Must have strong time management skills and ability to work and manage through non-traditional work schedules.
- Skilled in influencing both internal and external stakeholders with limited decision-making authority.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% and to stay in hotels 1-2 nights per week.
Successful Candidates Will Be Expected To
- Process sales order from the quoting stage through shipment, working with other internal departments (credit, purchasing, warehouse, logistics)
- Grow the territory by developing new accounts
- Maintain and grow current customers
- Exhibit strong skills around business acumen, relationship building, organization and attention to detail, problem solving
- Possess the ability to be a self-starter
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage many customers and challenges at a time
