SA387 Plate Grade 11 & 22 Supplier
Universal Steel stocks SA387 material in grades 11 and 22, both in the Normalized & Tempered condition. SA387 steel plate, also referred to as ‘Chrome-Moly’ plate, is used in critical pressure retaining applications with superior performance required in high-temperature environments.
ASME SA387 plate has a higher concentration of Chromium and Molybdenum, depending on the specific grade, which improves performance in the final industry application. Universal carries SA387-11, or ‘1-1/4 chrome’, from 3/16” thick up to 6” thick, and SA387-22, or ‘2-1/4 chrome’, from 3/16” thick up to 4” thick.
Universal can provide third-party simulated post-weld heat treatment (SPWHT), per exact customer or end-user specifications to ensure the product will uphold the superior performance characteristics required in the environment of the final application. In addition to standard stock and code requirements, Universal has mill sources worldwide capable of producing material to meet precise job specifications.
