Important Notice for Customers and Vendors
Universal Steel America has learned that emails are being sent from the domain universalsteelamericainc.com by someone who is not affiliated with our company. This domain is not ours. Our official website and email domain is universalsteelamerica.com.
This is a case of a look-alike domain being used to mimic our name. Our systems and website have not been affected.
What to do
- Check the sender’s address carefully. Ours always ends in @universalsteelamerica.com.
- If you receive an unexpected request for a quote, payment, banking details, or login credentials, do not reply or use any contact information in the message.
- Verify the request by calling your usual Universal Steel America contact at a number you already know, or call our main office at 281-821-7400.
- Never send payment or change banking details based on an email alone.
If you have received a suspicious message, please forward it to it@universalsteelamerica.com so we can track it.
Thank you for your continued trust in Universal Steel America.
