SA537 Plate
Universal Steel stocks SA537 steel plate (PVQ) class 1 material from 3/16” to 4” thick. SA537 material is provided in the normalized condition. This grade is specifically used in applications where Charpy V-notch toughness is critical in lower temperature environments. SA537 is a heat-treated grade of steel, which is less sensitive to decreases in notch toughness in harsh cold weather environments, due to the Carbon/Manganese/Silicon concentration.
